The Ivy Top is constructed in 2 flat pieces that are joined with crochet at the end. A simple, quick project with instant gratification.

Yarn weight 1, Fingering, 20 WPI.
I used Algodón Super Soft by Lanas Orquídea: 100% cotton, 300 meters in 100 grams, 328 yd in 3.5 oz.
Crochet hook: 3.5mm (US: E-4)
Optional: stitch markers, measuring tape.
Gauge:
21 stitches and 15 rows in 10x10cm (4x4 in) after blocking, worked in Double Crochet with a 3.5mm (US: E-4) hook.
